  • The displacements are always relative to the first timepoint (assuming the reference_no of 0 was used in eddy_correct) but apart from that it is pretty general. If you run it you just need to give it the name of the .ecclog file (it also assumes the original data has the same - without the .ecclog extension).

Hi Siewmin (and I guess this should answer Sid's questions as well), If you run FSL's eddy_correct on your data, then this will, as you know, produce a text file called blah.ecclog You can then use the attached matlab script which will read your ecclog file and bvecs file, and apply the appropriate rotations to your bvecs. It simultaneously models the effects of diffusion eddy currents and movements on the image, allowing it to work with higher b-value data than has been possible with for example eddy_correct (FSL's earlier tool for eddy current correction).
